Dear Mr. Jones,

My name is Mickey Nelson and I work for the Thurston County Assessor's Office. One of my tasks this year is to take pictures of all the residences in your fine community for In-house purposes of identification for the appraisers. So when taxpayers like yourself call in with value related questions, it will help jog their memories as to what neighborhood, where, and what they did.

At this point I am not sure  when I will be out there for I am currently working north Cooper Point Road area. It may not be till this Summer. 

Since your community is large, I thought a friendly note to you would help alleviate fears and having been a former board member myself of my own neighborhood, I thought this would be a good thing to do.
